FAQ

Common questions

Direct answers on trustee accounts for professionals.

Talk to an expert
Who is this account for?
Lawyers and professionals who serve as trustees for a one-time transaction or event, such as a real estate closing or a settlement, and whose main business is not trusteeship. You hold the appointment; we provide the segregated account, the payment rails and the reporting underneath it.
Is this a trust service?
No. This is an account service under our FASP license, with funds fully segregated and no trust layer: you are the trustee and we provide the account. Trust services, where Psagot Equity itself acts as trustee, are a separate part of the house.
Can this hold a family trust or a long-term private trust?
No. These accounts serve trustees of one-time transactions and events: a real estate closing, a settlement, an escrow arrangement. Long-horizon family or estate trusts have different needs, and this account is not built for them.
How is this different from Psagot Equity’s trust services?
Here you are the trustee and we are your banking infrastructure. In our trust services, Psagot Equity itself acts as trustee. Some clients start here and later hand the trusteeship to us; both doors are open.
