Psagot Equity Financial Services Ltd. (company no. 517191011) and Psagot Equity Trustees Ltd. (company no. 516549565), together referred to here as “Psagot Equity Group” (the “Group”), are jointly responsible for the personal information collected through this website. It is hereby clarified that the following privacy policy applies only to the information collected during your visit to the Website.

Collecting and using the information

Psagot Equity Group collects information about its customers and/or visitors to the Website in order to improve and streamline the services it provides. Most of the information that Psagot Equity Group maintains regarding visitors to the Website is anonymous, regarding how the site is used and the pages on it, but some of the information may be of a personal nature, if you choose to provide it on your own initiative.

Psagot Equity Group receives this personal information when you provide it of your own free will through the contact form on the Website: the service you are interested in, your role in the inquiry, your preferred language for communication, your full name, your company, your email address, your phone number, and anything else you choose to write to us. We use these details to route your inquiry to the right specialist and to respond to it.

Psagot Equity Group may, at its sole discretion, use anonymous information stored by it due to the use of the Website for statistical processing, segmentation and marketing targeting. In some cases Psagot Equity Group may transfer the information to a third party subject to the various legal provisions.

Psagot Equity Group will not use your personal information for marketing without your separate consent. In accordance with this consent, your details may be used for the purpose of receiving marketing content via automatic dialling system, electronic message or a text message (SMS) in accordance with the provisions of Amendment No. 40 of the Telecommunications (Bezeq and Broadcasting) Law, 5768-2008. You can revoke your consent at any time and stop receiving the information using the "Unsubscribe" button or link that appears at the bottom of the message.

Right of access to information

According to the Privacy Protection Law, 5741-1981, you may review the information we hold about you. For this purpose, please contact the group's Public Inquiries Department at PID@psagotequity.co.il. If you find that an error occurred in the information we hold about you, and it is incorrect, incomplete or out of date, you have the right to request its correction or deletion.

Cookies and analytics

We load Google Analytics only after you select “Accept analytics”. It uses cookies to measure website use, such as visited pages, country and device type. Google processes the analytics information. We do not enable advertising or remarketing features on this website.

You can accept or reject analytics in the cookie preferences panel and change your choice through “Cookie settings” in the footer. Rejecting analytics does not limit access to the website. Withdrawing acceptance stops analytics and removes the Google Analytics cookies that this website can access; the page reloads to unload the analytics code. Withdrawal does not erase information already sent to Google.

We store your analytics choice and the date of that choice in this browser for up to 180 days. After that, we ask again. If browser storage is unavailable, your choice applies only to the current page. We also store your Hebrew or English language preference locally on your device. These preference records are not sent to us.

Information security

Psagot Equity Group considers information security an issue of paramount importance, and therefore uses as many advanced security measures and technologies as possible in order to protect the information it has received from Website visitors.

The connection between your browser and the Psagot Equity Group's server is carried out in an encrypted and secure manner using encryption methods that comply with the standards used in Israel and around the world, and which aim to prevent the disclosure of personal information transmitted over the internet. Please note, however, that although we make efforts to protect your privacy, there are inherent risks in the transmission of information over the internet or other methods of electronic storage, and we cannot guarantee that unauthorized access or use or other kinds of abuse and misuse will never occur.

It is important to clarify that despite the means of identification and the precautions taken by Psagot Equity Group, the use of various communication channels including telephone, fax, email and the Website involves special risks, including that a third party presents himself as a colleague or as authorized to act on our behalf.

It should be noted that the Website contains links to external sites that are not under the responsibility of the Psagot Equity Group, which is not responsible for the privacy and information security policy of those sites; this policy is valid for the Website only. When using the Website, the user confirms that he is aware that Psagot Equity Group does everything in its power to protect personal information, but cannot guarantee that the precautions will provide full immunity from intrusion into Psagot Equity Group systems.

Confidentiality

Psagot Equity Group undertakes to maintain the confidentiality of information in accordance with the Privacy Protection Law, 5741-1981. Details submitted through the contact form are used to handle the inquiry. Submitting those details does not itself constitute consent to receive marketing communications; marketing consent is requested separately.

"Phishing" — online fraud

Please note that various parties may try to obtain your access passwords and your identification details fraudulently. For example, they may contact you in an email that looks similar to an email coming from the group, using the design and trademarks of the group, and ask you to provide identifying details urgently for various needs such as a system update or a password reset. The fake message can also include a link to fake sites that are supposed to be a site operated by the group companies.

It is important for us to emphasize that Psagot Equity Group will never contact its customers by email or phone and ask them to provide their secret personal password. Therefore, do not respond to this type of request — it is recommended to delete the message — and do not give your username and password to anyone.

If you are concerned that your access password and/or your identification details and/or other information about you may have been obtained by an unauthorized person, please contact Psagot Equity Group immediately at PID@psagotequity.co.il.

Update of privacy and information security policies

Psagot Equity Group may update this policy and publish the revised version on this website. The date above identifies the latest revision. Analytics preferences and any separate marketing consent remain choices you can change.
